SO WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A TECHNICAL RECRUITER? As a Technical Recruiter with Apex, you will place qualified candidates with top companies throughout the country. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Utilizing established, proven recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract and contract-to-hire employment as well as given the opportunity to develop your own creative recruiting methods
Screening candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
Conducting skills testing, office interviews, reference checks and background investigations
Presenting job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiating contract terms
Preparing candidates for the client interview process
Building professional relationships with contract employees through lunch meetings and on site visits
Networking for new business opportunities and referrals
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A Bachelor's degree, and qualities such as a competitive nature, drive, ambition, resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, leadership skills, self-motivation, and strong communication skills. These are some of the traits we are looking for in you — it doesn't matter if you come from a Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, Political Science, Communications, Psychology, English, Liberal Arts, or Theater background! You don't even need to be technical - we'll provide you with all the training and support you'll need to be a great recruiter and progress in your career.
WHAT'S YOUR POTENTIAL CAREER PATH? Our ultimate goal is to groom you into an outside sales position. As an Account Manager at Apex, your responsibilities will include: identifying and calling on potential clients; developing relationships with hiring managers of top companies; negotiating contracts with clients; managing and developing Technical Recruiters; and more.
